Placing Your Baby for Adoption
Deciding whether to raise your baby or plan an adoption is not an easy thing to do. The important thing to remember is that you are in charge. We understand the difficult decisions you face and are here to provide support and information as you consider the possibility of adoption. We don't make the decisions for you. At a time in your life when things can seem out of control, our goal is to give you as much control as possible. We believe that as a birth parent, you have the right and responsibility to decide what's best for you and your child.
If you live in Minnesota or northwestern Wisconsin and wish to make an adoption plan we can meet with you, help you choose the type of adoption plan that best fits you, and help you select a potential adoptive family or place your child with a family you already have in mind.
If you live somewhere other than Minnesota or northwestern Wisconsin, you should find an adoption counseling center located near where you live that makes you feel comfortable. If you receive adoption counseling services from an agency near you, you may like to consider some of the prospective adoptive families we're working with. You also should know your Birth Parent's Moral Bill of Rights.
